Mike Tyson bitcoin wallet enters the ring

Bitcoin Direct together with Mike Tyson recently announced the launch of the Mike Tyson Digital Wallet. This wallet will allow users to buy or sell bitcoin and is designed to be compatible with any bitcoin ATM, according to the press release.

Bitcoin Direct created the wallet through a partnership with bitcoin payment technology company BitPay. The Mike Tyson Digital Wallet uses BitPay’s wallet platform Copay’s open-source code to power it. The wallet allows users to buy or sell bitcoin by using the app to sign up on bitcoin exchange Glidera.

“The Mike Tyson Digital Wallet offers beginners a simple and secure way to get started with bitcoin. Users can create wallets for sharing funds with friends, store multiple personal wallets in the same app, accept payments from friends, or pay bitcoin-accepting businesses online or in person,” said Peter Klamka, CEO of Bitcoin Direct. Bitcoin Direct does not charge users fees for using the wallet. Users can utilize a sliding scale to deal with the small fee to confirm the payment on the blockchain.

Mike Tyson’s Digital Wallet is available now on iOS, and will soon be available on Android devices, according to the press release.
