At 5:30pm, the Senate will vote on the motion to invoke cloture on the motion to concur with further amendment (Coast Guard Reauthorization). If cloture is invoked, all post-cloture time will expire at 2:15pm on Wednesday, November 14th.
During today’s session, Senator McConnell also filed cloture on Executive Calendar #909, Michelle Bowman, of Kansas, to be a Member of the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System. The cloture vote on the Bowman nomination will occur upon disposition of the House Message to accompany S.140.
